See this tournament: https://triqqy.com/#/tournament/214 (Tigris & Euphrates)
8 players, 2-player games. In round one both player A and player B beat their opponents and move up to round 2. In round 2 Player A beats player B. But player B is the one that is moved up to the third and final round! I was player A.
Where is the logic in this? I assume the player matching is done automatically by a program, but only a program written by morons would behave this way.
By the way, this is the second time this has happened to me. I politely reported it the first time this happened but nothing was done to correct this idiocy and I only received a rude response.
What a shame Dr. Knizia has allowed the use of his fantastic games on this website.
But looks like this junk of a site is dying anyway.

The score does not reset. Both you and Maplenova have the same score. You got eliminated on a tiebreaker (order of who joined the tournament first). The webmaster sees a display bug though and he has noted this in his to do list.

Only a moron would agree with this explanation. Two player games are head-to-head matches. What's the difference if you win a match 3-0 or 2-1? The loser is eliminated and the winner moves up. Have you seen ANY other tournaments? Tennis?
Even going by the nonsensical and idiotic method you stated (score not resetting), the logical tie break should be the result of the match between the two opponents.
The problems with tournaments on this site go beyond this situation, such as matching the two highest rated players against each other in the very first round! It is like in a tennis tournament matching the top two players against each other in the very first round, eliminating one of them right at the start. (But hey, according to your system, the loser can still move up to the next round!!!!!!).
With your incompetent running of tournaments you chase away all decent, competitive players from the site. You already have few users as it is.
But who cares? This was the last straw. I won't be playing on this joke of a site anymore. Find me on BGA.

I'm so sorry you feel this way.
