Thank you, open requests is much better.

The 'Any" criteria still seems to match only with 'Any' and then gives a 1 point match, so no doubling cube.

At least I can't make it behave differently.

I have a casual, 7, open sitting there and there are two casual, any, open, also there. I think one of them should have joined my game

Have spent more time on this. Is it surprisingly complex. There are challenges in both the matching phase, then in the games created once matched. I think it is behaving more sensibly now. Let me know how it goes.

I just created a Casual, 7, open.

There are 3 Casual, Any, open sitting there.

None of them joined my game. I will leave it up so you have something to play with when you get around to it.

Perhaps this is the issue Silly Knig-it (best name ever) was having, but:

When I go to the "Open Public Game Requests" page, there is no obvious way for me to join any of those games. No clickable links.

So, how DO you join a game? (The only game I joined before was through the scrolling chat window.)

Yeah there is no way to do that from there right now. Games do not exist as such until there enough waiting requests, however it would be possible to "match" the request from the Open Requests... once it is coded. You can do that when you see a request in the global chat.

I still can't games to create no matter how many times I try to match the open postings. I wonder how people join the ones I post? I can't ask them because they join and disappear. But they are doing something that allows them to join. I just don't know what or I would do it to.

i think i've isolated this issue to when you make requests from the game info page - which is probably what you would do if you were looking into open requests. there was an issue there, that now should be corrected.
