How do I abandon a game?

I started a game of Through the Desert against a single bot. I don't want to finish the game now. How can I abandon it?

Also, why can't I play against most than one bot?

You can only play the game or don't. Games can be quick to finish when you play in real-time. There is only Randbot to choose from.
