Says I'm Ending Turn, but I haven't started yet. Will not let me play any legal action, states error: Illegal action PlayCard for game state EndTurn

Senet round 1, received a second throw of sticks and can't make a valid move

why can't I move house 8 to house 9? or progress my furthest piece?
is this because the programming doesn't allow for anything other than house 10 to move on round 1?
